anyone know the size/measurements for replacements? theyre the ones that connect the strut to the lower control arm. the last person to work on the car did a number on the heads and i would like to replace them. but i cant seem to find them. i just need the thread pitch, size, etc so i can go to fastenal and get a pair.

Just visit a dealership, after seeing what happens when you use cheap bolts in the front suspension I'd play it safe. Audi bolts are much, much better than anything you can get at a hardware store, they're stronger and galvanized.

 

ill measure my stock ones tomorrow. ill ship them to you if you want.

 

I took mine out today, I could also ship you them. Audi does recommend using new bolts when you remove the old ones, but I don't know anyone that's done that.

 

yea ive heard that, but was kind of skeptical. they dont seem like a one use bolt. pretty sure ive never encountered a "torque to yeild" strut bolt..

but anywho how much would you guys want for them?
