Hey guys new to the forum, I had the exact same issues.
Clunking noise from LHS front, control arms are tights, new sway links and sway bar with bushings, couldn't figure it out.
Going over slight bumps would make a noise, smooth roads not really much. Going over speed humps a slight noise, not so much on braking.
Did a brake torque check to check mounts, mounts fine. Inspected engine mounts and transmission mounts fine.

Noticed the rotors moved a bit when checking tie rods, after changing them. Upon closer inspection the Caliper carrier bolts were LOOSE!!! Tightened it up n bobs my bloody uncle problem resolved!!!
