Default Wheel bearing question

sup guys, i have another question.

I have a wheel bearing in the rear that is differently bad, when i swerve right when driving it makes a terrible groaning noise, when driving straight it makes a humming hissing sound. I know this is typical wheel bearing sounds.

But it also sounds like my car makes a terrible static sound when turning to the right, it comes from the rear right wheel side. At first I thought it was my speaker because it sounds like pure static/hissing but I've unplugged the speaker from my amp (the speaker was blown anyway) and it still makes the sound.

Is this normal for a wheel bearing to make a static type sound in the rear?

my friend and i recently replaced my front right axle and cv joint with a brand new one, we also ended up needing to change the front right wheel bearing because of excessive play in the wheel.

My rear wheel bearings made kind of a hissing noise, though I don't think static is the best way to describe it. More of a hum.

Note that if you hear grinding when you turn right, it's the left rear bearing. Likewise, if you turn left, it's the right wheel bearing. So, if you're turning right and the sound is coming from the rear right, it's something other than the bearing.

You're going to want to replace both rear bearings anyway because they inevitably fail within 5k miles of each other.

I just made a video of the sound driving around my house its uploading now maybe that will give a better idea.

the mechanic who works on my car told me when i got my right side axle and bearing fixed that i had a bad rear bearing too but it wasn't as urgent and to get fixed afterwards. I never asked which one it was though.

I'm just hoping this issue im having is just the bearing, its hard to explain. I know what a bad bearing sounds like because this is defintely bad, when i turn at low speeds it groans, when i swerve at 30 mph or higher it makes a louder groaning noise but it also seems to making a humming type hiss noise through the back of the car.

It sounds like blown speaker paper vibrating. Maybe the bearing is vibrating enough through the body to vibrate the speaker, which if torn, could be making that sound.

Could be trim somewhere vibrating.

Its defiantly, coming from a bad, wheel baring. My bad driver side wheel baring, was so loud in the cabin, before i got both driver side and passenger side, wheel bearings replaced. I couldn't hear anyone clear, when i was on my Iphone.

You might as wheel, change both rear wheel bearings,no sense in changing only one.

thanks for the input, the speaker is defintely not in good shape, at about 60% volume it crackles and sounds bad. I tested it driving today just now with it plugged in and unplugged, the vibrating static sound only occurs when turning or swerving right, turning left immediately stops this.

I'm getting the bearing fixed on wednesday from my local mechanic who has worked on my car with me awhile on the side. Hopefully that should fix the problem because I was getting ready to drop $$$ on stereo equipment.
