would anyone know the fuel tank size on my 01 1.8t quattro? im getting mixed readings from different websites, some say 14, 14.5, 15.9, 16.9. i noticed my car gets empty pretty quick and i fill up when my range is like 10 miles. but i noticed i usally only fill up about 13.4 gallons to get a full tank.

 

it should be around 14 - 15 gallons or so... i seen somewhere they said its 16.8 but i dont think that sounds right because when i fill up from empty it only takes about 13.5 gals or so... i hope it helps..

The owners manual says the exact amount somewhere. I can tell you a '99 quattro is 15.6 gal.
