Ok so my 98 audi a4 1.8t auto/tip quatro is having a small issue that I would like some input on before dumping money into a fix...so my center display for my instrument cluster(non lcd) is a blank...everything else is working fine, I've checked for power with volt meter at the harness all is good, took the screen apart and all the little LEDs work but the full display is dead...I can go out and buy another one but its $312 from the dealer and has to be ordered from Germany. Tranny has no codes and no CEL. I'm thinking if it was one of the wires then it would show at least one of the 2 either gear display or ambient temp seeing how there's 12v going into it....any input would be great
