Giac chip- group buy!

The group buy is technically still on last I heard. But people are dropping like flies. At this rate, it is quite unlikely that the GB will get enough participants to proceed. The only tearing apart required is opening you ECU box, (3-4 phillips head screws), and disconnecting your silver ECU harness (one clip). Your car will sit for no longer than two days, but much more likely it will sit only one.


In my own opinion, the savings vs. hassle meter reads higher towards the hassle side. I would just purchase the chip yourself.

seems like enough people just wernt that interested, and those that were couldn't wait for an open ended deadline that seemed to get further away each time

if the DBW were cheaper i would be in, but the extra hefty pricetag over the NDBW keeps me from getting it.

Why is the DBW more expensive? is it just because there are more parameters to control so more R&D went into it so its a recouping of sunk costs? or is it they figure these will lead to more problems and questions which equal more phone calls and tech support, which then equal more money lost. Or is is something else entirely?
