ill be sure to do that but, we do have emmissions test's here however my inspection is up this month so i could get away with it for atleast a year until inspection time

 

If your Cat is bad you won't pass emissions testing anyway, a bad cat is the same as no cat. Think more about that Volvo or maybe a Fiat 600D.

 

i took the car in today to get checked and inspected. I passed emissions and recieved inspection, however my air filter they said was really dirty and ripping.

They couldn't find anything wrong with the car other than the cat is causing the rattle. Now the problem is trying to figure out to do a testpipe or a hi-flow cat, either way will the hi-flow pass emissions for new york?
