Default Going to buy audi - need advice!

Audi newb here. I am going to look at and probably purchase a 99.5 audi a4 1.8t quattro with 122k. the car is lowered with rims. What should I ask or look for when buying this car? Timing belt replacement? Bad turbo? Anything else with these particular models? Thanks!!

What kind of rims? If they are chrome or otherwise in bad taste stay away from the car...the rims on an audi can tell you a lot about the way it has been treated. There is a red a4 around me (i love how they look in red) but it has these awful chrome rims on it. It is not a well taken care of Audi. Also find out what lowering kit is on it, if it is a cheapo kit again stay away. Definitely check out the stickies for detailed info as to what to look for. If the maintenance is not documented then assume it has not been done.

Yeah the stickies will do you a lot of good. As for the rest, just make sure you don't spend all your money on the car, you'll need some for repairs and upkeep.
