Going Downhill in neutral, saves gas ?

No more of a shock than changing gears, I would guess, unless the idle RPM is much less than the in-gear RPM you're in once engaging the gear, maybe.

I think it's dangerous to do that. Even if it did save you some gas, I'll be more worry about the danger.

yeah thats what i thought, how much could i save? 50c? not worth it
