aledelic42, the funny part is that of all the pics you posted, the one in your sig looks the best. Dropped with 16's looks good to me and I've always preferred the stock/sleeper look.

19's look goofy if not dropped with adjustable coil-overs, but you'll need to roll the fenders for clearance. 20's look goofy, no matter what. They will also destroy your ride quality, handling, and braking. Stick with 18's. Easier to manage.

It's custom painted (pretty sure it's paint, not vinyl)

If you want coilovers why get 19s? It'll be a lot easier to get a good stance with smaller wheels.

What are those tires that you have on the blue A4 in your signature? I love the look of them. I am trying to find out what tires look best on my pearl.

Also, is that lowered too?

I also love the matte/flat black look. Smoked tails, black housing heads, deep tint, etc. But as much as I love it I don't know that I'd roll an Audi in matte. Audi's are too "luxury" for that. I prefer a more stock paint or like a flat white. Mmmm, fancy. Flat white with matte black wheels!

^^^^^^
That would look nasty! Not huge on the "murdered out" look for the Audi either (or any car for that matter) but the flat white / matte black looks damn good in my head

If you're referring to the wheels in this sig as 16's then you're mistaken. I believe they're 17's.

To add to what the other guys said, I agree that offset is key. If you spec the right offset you should have the clearance you need. A question for you guys that have lowered your cars over 19s - how much lower than stock did you go? I'm also planning 19s but rather than coilovers (since I like to set a ride height and leave it rather than change it up), I'm thinking of the roughly 2" drop of H&R race springs and a set of 19s. Is that enough to close up the gap or did you go lower? I'd hate to buy and install the springs only to find out that a static 2" drop isn't enough to get the gap down tight between tire and fender. Since the springs are coming very soon (before the wheels) it's going to influence the purchase of my suspension parts.
