Got the latest mod on yesterday and another one ordered Friday:)
Mid-week I posted up the pics of the A8 BBK with Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors, Hawk pads, and a few other minor things that I ordered from ECS. I PM'ed a guy on here about three weeks ago regarding a set of wheels he had for sale, but I never got a reply so I went looking for other options. Came across a set available 15 minutes from me and went and got them yesterday morning. They're AT Italia wheels, 17", with practically new Michelin Pilot tires in 235-45-17 size. I had wanted to go with black 18" wheels, but for $550 I couldn't pass these up. My tires were shot and I was going to have to get new ones this week (they were that bad), and I'm not at all disappointed, since I really like the OEM B5 S4 wheels, and these look like a five-spoke version of the S4 wheels. Clean look and they go well with the car. Tuesday I am installing the BBK to go with them, and once the weather breaks, I'll repaint the calipers in red (they're black now) and paint my lowers. But I'm very happy with these wheels - for the price, it was a really good score and the car drives much more smoothly and handles quite a bit better (big surprise considering the difference in size between these tires and my OEM tires). Currently I'm waiting on the two-piece depo lights to arrive, which should be mid-week this week, and then I just need to tint my windows, smoke my taillights, and order the lip spoiler. I was overdue to throw some mods at the car (last one was my DVD head unit back in May), so I'm happy with this stuff. Maybe it'll hold me over for a few weeks lol
PS - yes I know my car is a filthy pig, but it's been in the teens and 20s here - not the most conducive weather to detail in.

Sweet! Those really do look like a 5-spoke version of the S4 wheels; in fact, when I glanced at the picture thumbnails before reading your post,I thought you HAD S4 wheels on it! The Depo headlights are pretty good for the money. I just installed mine a couple weeks ago. The only issue I've had with them is the clips that attach the corner markers to the sides of the main headlight housing are kind of a PITA to line up, and they don't quite hold the best - you just have to move the housingsaround until they match up completely. Other than that, they're great!
Thanks for that info on the depo lights - I will definitely keep it in mind and will mess with them and reinforce as needed. I know if you didn't say that and then I got them and they didn't line up right, I'd probably be mad, thinking I got a bad set. I bought clear corners last year that completely wouldn't go in and I ended up throwing them away after I modded the mounting tabs and just plain couldn't get them to fit. I had a few times where I was driving and had to spike the brakes when some moron pulled out in front of me, and the lights actually flew off the front of the car and were hanging by the bulb harnesses. I've wanted to get these depos for quite awhile and finally decided Friday to quit screwing around - I had already spent a decent amount of money for parts, so what's a little more right?
I'm really happy with the wheels. I still may upsize to black 18s at some point later on, but I'm certainly happy for now. And yeah, with the indents where the spokes meet the rim, altered S4 wheels was my first thought and in my mind, S4 wheels are hardly a bad thing. I was thinking of painting them gunmetal but I like the look of them as-is. A friend of mine is going to email me a link to the website where he orders all his powder for powdercoating, and he said they have aerosol spray paints that give almost an anodized finish. If they have something that'll look like black chrome, I'll probably do that - I think that could be a really nice look. And since I do metal polishing and have all the gear for that, I may paint them with the black chrome look and polish the very edge of the wheels (they don't really have a lip as in a deep-dish wheel, but they do have the sidewall guard lip). That would probably look outstanding - we'll see what the company has and take it from there.

They do look good. And for the price, they would have been hard to beat and at the very least, I'm glad you're on some safe tires now.
I had a little trouble lining up one of the corner lights in my Depo lights, but that's not really so hard once you get the hang of it and see what needs to happen. But for the love of God or your new wheels or whatever, be careful when you're adjusting them, those f*cking screws strip so easily, it's a joke.
ps. Any ideas on how to adjust the unadjustable?

Sounds good - I'll be sure to be careful. As for adjusting the unadjustable, that's easy - Dremel
If there's no adjustment built in, you just have to create it
