Default H & R vs Neuspeed Springs

Anyone have any experience with both or either? Suggestions?

I'm running H&R race springs. Dropped my car nearly 2" all around which I find is just right with my 19s. But even better is the handling and lack of body roll.

Think you could show me a picture of your wheel gap? Are you on stock shocks?

I ran Neuspeed Race paired with Bilstein Sports when I had my B5... The ride quality was decent, but there was still too much body roll for my taste. If I hadn't been given the springs for free I would've ended up with an H&R Cup Kit. For what it's worth I run a Cup Kit on my E46 and couldn't be happier.

Are you suggesting the H&R springs then? I'm going to be running them on stock shocks.

I can't really say one or the other, especially since you're going to be on stock shocks.

Do you have factory sport suspension?

Yes I'm on stock shocks (non-sport). Here's pictures with stock wheels and my 19's.

Did a quick search and found this:

Just an observation. I couldn't imagine stock non-sport shocks lasting very long when teamed up with race springs. I would just splurge for the entire kit and save yourself the time and / or money of tearing it apart twice when you have to replace the shocks.

Actually Hiwords ran H&R race springs on oem non-sport struts for quite awhile (and he punished them on a regular basis). They held up great and the ride was nice - firm and controlled and not bouncy like you might suspect. I really liked that combo.
