There is nothing behind that plate..

Who ever had the car before me did something to it theres misc plugs in the trunk and such I have the ground but nothing else (besides the pictured plugs)

SO I am one plug short but my factory radio was working with just these plugs

and yes and it didnt fit ...

 

How's the harness thingy going? Any luck? did the schematic help? It's possible someone before you modified it...maybe even best buy etc....who knows....are you sure no wires are 'connected/clipped' together behind your center console there? have you had it off? what kind of weird wires in your trunk? RCAs (red and white), maybe they had a sub in the back.....

Did you DO your own hello kitty design there, or did you buy that face from somewhere?

No sir I did hello kitty all on my own

and there are no wires clipped and some weird plug in the trunk I will post pictures when I get home this evening

I havent found a harness Ive been radio KIA for a little bit now I guess Im finaly getting used to the silence

 

this is how it's supposed to look. you're missing the orange harness. don't mind the round plugs and loose wires. pic is from badlandz on AZ. he also installed an alpine. hope that helps a bit

are you SURE it was a symphony stereo?? or what model/brand does it say on it? What about taht picture of teh weird wire in the trunk?
