Has anyone ever had a problem after resurfacing there dual mass flywheel?
Resurfacing flywheels is debateable. Taking away surface matter reduces it's ability to disipate heat. Never met an Audi/VW tech who reccomended doing this. What is not debateable is that you will not get the same life out of the flywheel as you did the first time around, and I think thats the point.
So what would my cost be for a stage 2 clutch 2.8 30v? I will be ordering one in the next week or so. Actually give me the stage 3 cost as well. Tempted to go for a really grippy clutch just cuz of my driving. Oh and do you recommend the graphite or the steel throw-out bearing
So if you order it from me it costs you $420, if you were to order the same thing from Southbend directly you would pay $490.
The discounts get larger as you go higher in the clutch stages. So the discount for the Stage 3 is a little more.
I discount all of the clutch kits that I offer along with many other parts I sell. Even though the mark up is not all that great, I still do it to help others save money while still getting a great product. At this time I am also trying to get Clutch Masters to put together a special price together for a FX400/billet steel flywheel package that I will be offering for about 30 days, I hope to be able to offer that for the month of Feb but at this time just waiting for Clutch Masters to put the price together.

I had my stock flywheel resurfaced 3 times before it became too thin to use.
Yes it should be able to handle doing that on a stock 2.8. For people that run a SC I suggest the Stge 3.
