I beat a Street Prepped STi in my GS A4. You don't beat cars, you beat drivers. The best car with the worst driver will lose to a golf cart. Of course, if you run with the club I run with, everyone loses to the the Karts!
Oh, and lose that tripod. It's not going to stay there past your launch. If you want a ghetto camera mount, get a mini-tripod from Target, and wire-tie it to your passenger seat headrest posts. That's what I did and it worked like a charm for two days of Autocrossing, a TSD rally, and some random around-town driving before I took it off.

 

It was canceled due to wind... lame! The tripod made it all the way to the track, and about 3/4 of the way home. It fell over on some twisties.
