Default Headlight Restoration

I'm dyslexic, this is the C5 section, no?

When I bought my car the first thing I wanted to do was restore the headlights. They weren't the worst by any means, especially compared to some C5's out there, but they could definitely be cleaned up.

I was originally going to buy sandpaper and headlight sealant separately but then I found this.

Amazon.com: Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit: Automotive

Reviews were great and it was $2 cheaper at Wal-Mart. Couldn't go wrong, so I gave it a try. This is all I have for a decent before picture.

I don't have any A6 friends.

I figured the regulars would at least understand why I posted here hahaha.

I used a random orbital buffer at work to apply the compound for reference, I did that four times before applying the sealant.

I used the same kit on the GF's bug and they were in way worse shape ('99 build) and look almost new. Car went from looking like a '99 that it is to at least a '05. Cheapest kit with great results.

Need to do it to the TT, but it has a coating on top so I need a lower grit sand paper to start with.

I wish I got that when I still had my B5. It only had one headlight that was bad, which was a little annoying.
