Default Heat issue...yeah I did my research

So I could not find a definitive diagnosis on in the forums.
My heat works foir a few seconds then gets cold....so probably not the heat gate, right?
Both heater core lines (supply and return) seem pretty damned hot.....so probably not clogged right?
What would the issue be? Air? If so what is the easiest /best way to bleed it?
Thanks all!

Seattle. Better to fix it when it is 60-70 out than 40 and raining.

HAHA thats true... Does it ever get hot again if you leave it on for a while? Also what happens when you put the cold on? Just wondering.

Remove the three screws from the G-12 reservoir, and lift it
with heat on high. This should bleed the system.

It will heat up again after it has been off for a few minutes.

I took the resevoir off last weekend but it seemed like it would only lift a few inches. How HIgh should it go and are there any tricks to this?
