There is a coolant level sensor attached to the bottom of the coolant tank. Thats probably making it so you can't lift it very high.

Great I will check it out, do I need to open up a bleed valve or anything?

Also, you from Eastern WA?

theres no bleed valve but lifting it up puts the exit hose on the tank at the very bottom making the air go to the top, essentialy bleeding the air off. however if your coolant is at the proper level this should happen on its own because the exit to the tank is at the bottom normaly. sometimes squeezing the hoses by hand will agitate the liquid enough to bleed the lines if thats the problem
