OK I got this problem with my car. During cold weather it has a ruff idle that bounces and sometimes dies. When I drive it, it bucks under acceleration pretty violently and if I maintain my speed I can feel the power surging in and out. If its in the 40's or above it dont do this.

So far I have replaced the coolant temp. sensor, MAF, various vac lines & rubber elbows that had leaks. I have also seafoamed the car and will be replacing the plugs this week.

I hada code a couple months ago but it has not come back since I cleared it. Unfortunatly I did not write it down but it points to the coolant sensor or MAF which is why I replaced them. (lean condition is all I remember)

At this point I am ready to replace the fuel pump because its all I can think of at this point.

What do I do next?

 

Just had an idea! What about the intake gasket? How can I test this at home?

I also forgot to add that I gave the throttle body a good shot of carb cleaner.
