Default Help? 12v CEL P0401, P0116, P0322

So I have had problems with my car for quite a while now. They have been getting worse and worse. Lately my car starts up maybe 3/4 times. If it doesn't start, I turn the key and it just cranks for a long time and takes a few attempts to get it going. And then once I do get it going, it stalls very easily, even if I'm in neutral. The RPM's will just randomly idle around 1200 and if I press the gas they will just fall instead of rise... Today my car started up alright but then within 3 seconds after backing out of a parking spot the RPM's just fell to 0 and the car shut off. The car sometimes started but only ran for about a second and it wouldn't turn back on and stay on for over 20 minutes and several attempts. After that, it seemed to run normal on my ride home (at least I would consider it normal).

I got a new CEL after this happened. P0322 - "Ignition/Dist Engine Speed Input Circuit No Signal"
I cleared my CEL with two other codes a few days ago. They were: P0401 - "EGR Flow Insufficient" and P0116 - "Engine Coolant Temp Circuit Low Input"
(I used just a basic OBD II PocketScan)

I'm not sure if the older two codes are related to what has been causing my car to stall out. My power steering pump is also shot and there is something wrong with my AC compressor that causes my car to sound whiney and old.

My car is a 97 2.8 12v Quattro manual with ~92k miles . I have a K&N cone filter installed and I will try cleaning that and the MAF out for now. The spark plugs are fine. I put new ones in and it didn't help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Car in question:

Hey I had a VERY similar starting problem couple of weeks ago, I cleaned every electrical connector I could find on the engine including MAF and replaced fuel filter. Solved my starting issue.
I have P0116 and some other codes now and just found out I need a new coolant temperature sensor.

These are all very cheap replacement parts and DIY and should definetly help if not solve most problems.

I just cleaned out the filter, sensors and MAF. I can't tell if it made a difference. I'm guessing I'm going to end up needing to buy some new sensors. Thanks for the help. Any more input is more than welcome!
