Default Help-CEL Problem Codes

Alright well I just got my car back from the dealer getting work done and after driving it around for about 45mins the CEL came on so I stopped by an Autozone and had them check it and this is what it said-
P1136 - Manufacturer control fuel air metering
P1476 - Manufacturer control auxiliary emission control
This is what was just done
Removed and replaced throttle body valve unit and stage unit control unit and replaced barometric sensor
Replaced ignition module, throttle body, and baro sensor

the way audi lets any old autozone scanner work on it is because they translate the VAG codes (5 digit number) into a generic OBDII P-codes. the P codes tell you very general information about the problem. the VAG codes gives you specific info about the problem.

P1136 - Manufacturer control fuel air metering
is vag code:
17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean

and P1476 - Manufacturer control auxiliary emission control

really means...

17878 - EVAP Emission Contr.LDP Circ Malfunction/Insufficient Vacuum

so Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean means theres not enough gas in relation to air in the engine (theres too much air getting in). (add) means the ECU is adding fuel to compensate. bank 1 just means which side of the engine, you have an inline 4 engine so you only have one bank.

and EVAP Emission Contr.LDP Circ Malfunction/Insufficient Vacuum says you are getting insufficient vacuum, so air is leaking into the engine. this would explain the lean situation. so you probably have a leak. maybe someone at the dealer forgot to connect a hose, something poped off on its own, or something is broken in your vacuum system.
