If you want to replace the entire PCV system then I would suggest 034's silicone breather kit.

Breather Hose Kit, AUG/AWM/AMB B5/B6 Audi A4 & Volkswagen Passat 1.8T, Reinforced Silicone - 034Motorsport | Performance Parts for Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen

If you don't want to spend that much, then you could get by with replacing the block elbow and T fitting as those are the common leak points.

Block elbow: 06A 103 213F

T-fitting: 06A 103 247

You should be able to get those two parts for less than $50. Make sure to get a new o-ring for the block elbow. Also, I wouldn't call those two parts easy to replace. You'll be working in very tight spaces beneath the intake manifold and will have to remove a couple of the pesky one time use clamps.

awesome! Thanks man. I added those part numbers to my Reinforced Silicone Breather Hose Kit.

Total is $142.33 not bad, considering how much, esctunning is charging for it's kits and OEM kits, that's not even silicone.

Can you vouch for this kit? did you install it in your B5?

Yes, I installed the 034 breather in my car a few weeks ago.

I wrote a DIY article here: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/diy...-early-199692/

It's written for an AEB, so your AWM will be a bit different, but the same concepts apply.

you're awesome man, thanks a lot. I just pulled the trigger and ordered the parts.

I'm leaking oil and i didn't know from where, until i finally got my Russian mechanic to finally look at it and tell me, where the oil is leaking.

This after i got my rear main seal, valve cover gasket, half moon seal and the gasket seal and Both front camshaft seals, replaced and still was leaking oil!!

So i hope this settles the oil leaking issue.

is there anything else i should replace, while replacing the PCV system? Do you know of a vacuum hose kit? maybe i should do that, while I'm at it? please point me to a kit on the same site if you can, being i prefer to buy, everything at once on the same site if i can.

It's always a good idea to check the vacuum lines and replace them with silicone. I believe 3mm for the smaller lines and 5mm for the larger ones.

ECS and 034 should both carry vacuum hose.

No, there are no kits. Buy some tubing, remove the old line, cut the new one the same length, reinstall.
