Default Help with my Audi

I know this isnt the right place to be posting but I wasnt able to post on any other thread but anyways I have a 98 audi a4 that just broke down because my rear diff mount snapped in two my car is at my uncles or I would take a picture. anyways I found a replacement online for a 2000 audi a4 so my question would be will the mount from the 2000 a4 work on my 98? or would I be better off holding out for one coming from a 98? I have included a picture of the part thank you for your help

I think that the 2000 diff mount will fit just fine. I'm not aware of any changes made to the diff mounting throughout the years. I'm curious what transpired to break the diff mount? Did it impact something from underneath?

That's funny my uncle asked if I was stunt jumping it ha but I don't think any of my driving would have done this unless I did hit something underneath unknowingly I got the car in February and haven't had a problem with it until the catastrophic failure of the mount! It all happened in like 40 mins of driving I noticed a weird ticking noise coming from the rear end like the wheel was hitting something then a huge noise and the car wouldn't move in gear. (Its auto transmisison btw ) The cv joint was also ripped out and we were curious to know which one happen first! If the mount broke then the cv or vice versa but if you think that piece will work in my car then I am good to go! Thanks for your help!

Have you looked at part #'s? Gotta be part numbers on it. At any rate, I'd be pretty surprised if that part changed.
