so today i stopped and tried to fill my a4 up today, and gas started pouring all over the ground. it seems the fuel tank has a nice split on it near the top and is basically just pouring out until under 3/4ths full. I need to replace the fuel tank, any help? cant find anything on the forums for DIY, and cannot find a replacement fuel tank anywhere. are there any models i can get a used fuel tank from that would work? (Jetta, s4 et..?). Any help?... I can only find an original oem replacement online, do not particulary feel like spending 1K if i can pick one up for $200 from the junk yard.

i think those straps hold it in? its a start at least
