Exclamation Help please with my a4

I have a 97 audi a4 and the front was hit when I was parked. Maaco told me they would fix it for $989.00 is that a rip off? The damage isnt that bad just the sides are poped out and there are scratches, plus it ruined my euro plate.

Maaco charging anyone 989.00 is a ripoff... Personally, I would never take my A4 to Maaco.

What do you mean by "the sides are popped out"? The bumper sides are unhooked? Or is the bumper pushed back causing the fenders to bow outwards?

surf craigslist for new body parts, prep em yourself, have them painted at a reputable shop and youll still probably come out cheaper than a grand. probably a better job too. (this is all given that there isnt any major damage or alignment problems among the panels)

You don't need to take the tires off to re-fasten your bumper. There are black clips where the front fender meets the front bumper by the fender well; all you need to do is grab the bumper and clip it back on. Assuming your bumper is too damaged to allow for this.
