Took everything apart tonight. Cleaned the contacts and bent the tabs up a bit. Reinstalled and still having the same issues. The sunroof opens perfectly, but it you turn the switch all the way closed quickly it just sits there and will not close. If you turn slowly most times it will close all the way, but occasionally it will stop short. Any ideas??

 

Sounds like you need to fiddle a little more with bending the contacts or get a working switch from a salvage yard/eBay.
