im about to do a tb job on my 01 but im not sure as to which kit to get because of the split. i cant understand how to read which part of the vin it is.

Blaupart.com has a better explanation for this. You need to look at the last six digits of your vin. If it is before 042384 you have the first part of the split if it is higher then you are in the second part. Or you can call ECS and give them your VIN number, and they'll send the proper kit.
