Ok so last friday i was carriyng some stuff on the trunk, started diving and i've noticed the display showed the trunk was unclosed so ive stoped and closed it again, did that about a couple of times but the trunk was proper closed, so it must be the sensor, does anyone know if it is located on the trunk itself or near the latch ring, on the car body.

BTW i think the trunk light is out i don't quite remember, could that cause the missread.
