96 audi a4 b5 license plate light and trunk light not working!!! Help!

Default 96 audi a4 b5 license plate light and trunk light not working!!! Help!
My license plate and trunk light not working i checked the fuses replaced all the bulbs and even the wire sockets to the license plate bulb...I wonder what the issue is help me I keep getting pulled over.
