Default HELP: Upgrading to S4 front brakes

I think i might plan on buying my friends brakes from his wrecked s4. Does anyone know EXACTLY what is needed to complete the swap before i dive right in. i'm pretty sure it's not a straight accross swap but i've also heard the master and lines should be okay? Any thoughts?

Well, if the wheel lug pattern is the same, the only thing that might then be a problem would be the caliper bracket.

the bracket is different. problem with the S4 brakes is that they're so daym big it's hard to find wheels to fit without spacers

Not sure about the front brakes, although i've seen in ECS tuning that they sell S4 rear brake conversion kits for B5 A4, a direct bolt on. So try grabbing those off your friends S4 too.

there is atleast 100 threads about this. and i know that it is more involved than you think. VERY doable, but you do need to get different uprights and such.
