Default Hey all, new to the site.

hey everyone, I will soon be purchasing a 99 or 2000 A4 1.8t and have been recently looking at modding possibilities. I was especially intrigued by AWE tuning's website and their turbo upgrade kit. However I do not have much experience with audis or any german cars for that matter. Does anyone know about AWE? Like how credible are they? Do they have a good reputation? Also for the K04 turbo upgrade kit are there any other supporting mods that must be done prior to installing the kit (besides cat back)?

here is the link to the AWE K04 upgrade... http://www.awe-tuning.com/pages/shar...&IL=AWEK04

No it looks like that kit has about everything it uses the GIAC K04 chip. GIAC is a very reputable company the only thing I would tell you to deffinatly get is a K&N drop in filter

AWE has a great rep as an Audi tuner. I would suggest you have an aftermarket exhaust before you get a K04 upgrade or you won't be enjoying all the turbo upgrade has to offer.
