The kit I bought from vvme was only 60 and change shipped, so if it sucks, I'll check out DDM. I have the facelift projectors, so cut off shouldn't be a problem, but I'll make sure I'm not blinding the oncoming traffic... thanks for the tip. Can't wait to get these installed!

Here what I have installed is some 55W HID's on my depo ecodes with black housing....excuse the crappy pics, it was taken with my AT&T Tilt And yes, they are 6000K color. I believe is the ideal temp color as I feel you get the max light out, especially on a 55w set up.

FYI: As most will know, these headlights take stock D2S bulbs, but i was able to put in 9006 bulbs in there. without cutting or trimming or anything of that sort. Popped right in, I only did it though because that's what I had and didn't have the conversion wiring to put the D2S bulbs, cuz my HID kit was originally for a 9006 set up......anyways here it is:

P.S. Yes, I know the right head lamp needs to be adjusted up a bit...i already did that, these pics were taken right when I finished installing them.

Yeah, they are 6000k and they are beautiful on those dark roads....now on my way on getting regular 35w kit for my fog.....not sure what I should with the High beam....the stock halogens don't do it justice anymore now.....maybe i'll get one of those xenon bulbs, like the Hi-Test brand ones, or the Eurodezine Ultra's h7 those are the very best bulbs by the way as far as stock halogen xenon....i have tried all of those cheap ebay ones, and these are the best, better than even the sylvania silverstar ultra's

As cheap (price-wise) as the VVME kit was, I don't think the components are cheap. I think I paid $50 for my 8000k kit and haven't had a problem with them yet. To the OP, one problem I did have when installing mine: The plugs on the connection from ballast to bulb are not idiot proof. They can be plugged together more than one way, though only one way will work. If you get everything wired up correctly and still no light, try flipping the plugs over.

I don't know why everything has to turn into an internet pissing contest here lately. Lets just grow up and have intelligent, fact-based adult conversations and keep **** on topic, shall we?
