yup I love them & I've never gotten high-beamed for blinding oncoming traffic or anything!
but I always get compliments and have yet to see brighter....

ok, i guess ill put it this way, yes or no question. do the rings on the halos light up with 8000k hid lights?

I think its a separate bulb that lights them up.....

i think the halos have to be wired sepeartly. hids are cake to install.

ok, thank you. thats the answer i was looking for. so next i am going to purchase projector headlights preferably w/out bulbs included, then im going to buy 8000k hid bulbs that should fit in there just fine.

Yes get the DEPO projector housings and get a H7 HID Kit. The rings around the projectors that some housings come with have to be wired separately. Usually the rings "halo" will be wired to the parking lights cables so they are on when you turn on the parking lights but your headlights are still off. On my old 1993 BMW 325is (sold about 2 months ago) I had the cheap regular halogen with halo's which lit up with LED's, you don't want those, the leds sometimes get damaged and won't light up leaving you with half a halo. That's what happened and I had to disconnect them. If you want halo's go for the CCFL Halo's, they are much brighter compared to the led ones and they are pure white. Personally I'd just get projector housings and leave the halo's for BMW's.

get the depo ones i have those on mine there nice i also have the halo rings there not very bright but they look very nice for $250
