Default high/full beam flash and wiper trouble,

Hey, recently the flash/blink function on my 2000 A4 1.8 ts quattro for full beam stopped working, it works as it should when turning the full beam on but when pressing the switch towards yourself to flash it never engages/activates the lights. What steps should I take to start troubleshooting this?

also my wipers seem to be toast, sometimes they are really slow but the power from the battery is fine. What is the part that need replacing?

thanks
//
David

Look up "combi switch DIY" should solve all your problems.

thanks, seems the combi siwtch will solve my high beam issue, is it the motor driving the wipers that is starting to give up or what is usually the problem ?

the combi switch also includes the wiper stalk, so it may solve thoose issues as well. DO your wipers just not work all the time? or do they jump or spazz?

Thanks, they work, but sometimes they are very slow and weak, the additional speed switch (the small one on the wiper switch) don't seem to work properly either, only makes difference to the interval at slowest setting.

Tht sounds more like the motor is on the way out.
