So, all lights work normal but when I turn on high beams, passenger side goes out. I went out and bought a new bulb for the passengers side and same result. Help anyone?

 

so u turn the high beams on, then the passenger side turns on but then goes out? did the filament in the bulb disconnect or is the bulb still good? if the filament on the new bulb disconnects evry time u turn the high beams on, it's probably sum getting a huge surge of power all of a sudden. did u also make sure not to touch the bulb when installing it?

 

When I switch to highs beam, only the passenger sidehigh beam goes out. When I bought the new bulb, they come with a foam cover so, I didn't touch the bulb. I also tried switching bulbs and got same result. Thinking maybe it's a fuse.

 

cant be a fuse, when u push the **** to turn on the high beam, it sends a large current through to turn on the bulb and then the current dies down a bit. if ur fuse is blown, neither light would work. i def think u have a short. get a volt meter and start tracing the wires and testing at connections.

 

k, i'll try it, just to clearify though, all lights work, I hit the switch, passenger high beam goes out only.

would know if this would be an easy fix?
