Has anyone made their own dash rings? Im itching for another little project because I just painted my mirror housings, and I've wanted to do rings for a while. I just havent ordered them and I'm impatient and don't want to wait for them to ship.

Anybody do this, or have any idea on what materials I could pick up at Lowes/Home Depot and make them myself?

 

what color you painted? I want to paint my mirror covers chromed...

 

Did them a metallic silver. Did the chrome around the grille the same and blacked out the front rings.

 

i don't think they make chrome paint lol. metallic silver is RS4 style which looks pretty awesome too. as for the rings, i've yet to see anything small enough to cut and attach on there. i think you should just order them because those circles can be tricky

 

Duplicolor and othe brands make chrome spray paint, but they are not as reflective as the real chrome. Matallic silver is just the same color as my car....
