Default hopefully nothing major but.....

ok every other time or so when i turn my car on in the morning or when it is cold, it sounds like my splitter is blowing off at iddle? like i can hear a slight woosh....? i tried getting a sound clip but everytime i get the camera it wont do it...lol
my cars an 01' 1.8t 5 speed,
upgrades, sppedtuning chip, forge splitter dv, k&n filter, exhaust if that helps?

thanx, nd sorry if its a stupid question but it only started doing it recently....

you think it sounds like its the valve?
i had it running for a couple weeks now and it just started doing it like 3 days ago?

is it prolly cuz the speedtuning just got broken in? and its causind the turbo to spool up some more?

theres always a possibility.. i have my dv cranked down to where it will only go off at 15psi, and its been too cold for me to lower it. although it sounds really cool when i let off the throttle at 15 and hear it flutter

yea it does sound very cool...
but why would it do it at iddle? thats what i dont get, it shouldnt boost?
hmm i want to try and make it so that it recirculated all the pressure back in see if it helps my performance a lil bit better instead of blowing it off....do you need that plugg instead of the horn or do i just close it all the way?

You do need to use the plug. If you tighten it all the way, it's going to constrict the air flow and still blow off. You need to use the plug to get rid of the bov half.

so its normal that its just blowing off like that at iddle?
i tightened it up like 5 more clicks and still does it once in a while?

no, it should be closed at idle...

you may be running a little rich cause of it.

but your map should adjust i would think

Well the amount of air it is releasing could be negligible enough that the sensors aren't catching a problem. I'm thinking there may be something with your valve. Perhaps it just needs to be lubed a little bit, or the spring may have given out? Because even if I have mine set really soft, I don't get any "blow" while idling. So I would look into that... Otherwise, I don't know what it could be.
