Default How do you replace coolant in 2000 Audi A4?

May someone please give me a detailed description on how to flush out and replace the coolant? Is there is there video or website I can go to?

I have a 2000 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t with 100,000 miles.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

there are 2 ways that i have done it. One is a little black plastic plug in the front of the radiator on the drivers side, the other is to remove the lower radiator hose with the fill cap open.

Wham bam thank you mam

Open your coolant reservoir tank.
Unscrew the red coolant drain screw on the driver side of the radiator.
Close the bleeder screw and fill with coolant. On the V6 there is an air bleeder screw (6mm hex?) on the driver side behind the timing belt cover, there's probably something similar for the 1.8t.

The other option is to remove the lower coolant hose. That'll drain it much quicker but it's much more messy.

Be sure to use Audi/VW G12 coolant. You can get it at your local Audi/VW dealership for about $27.00.
