How much would it cost to fix a sunroof on my a4? I think it's something electric but idk for sure, it doesn't leak.

Can you describe the symptoms? The switch and the rails that the glass slides on are both common points of failure for the sunroof. Neither will be cheap to fix if you take it to a dealer or indie shop, but both are fairly easy fixes if you're handy with a wrench

The easiest fix is to clean and bend the little contacts in the sunroof switch. This fixed my phantom sunroof symptoms. If you search there is a DIY.

I tried this but I couldn't get the thing open to get to the contacts.

You shouldnt need it to be open to get to the contacts. There is a DIY around here that shows how to remove the switch itself, disassemble it, clean the contacts, and re-assemble.
