How much should a new battery cost + installation?

Depends on the battery and it should be free seeing as how easy it is to install a battery.
Although, I do know that Autozone or other car parts type shop will usually install it free of charge.

You are going to spend $80 to $100. Go with at least the midgrade battery but I always go with the premium. The battery is the easiest thing you can do on your car. It only takes one wrench and it will literally take you 5 min. The Diehard Platinum is the best battery you can get. I used to go with the Optimums but they aren't as good as they used to be.
