Hi I am getting a borla exhaust, giac and a test pipe next week, was wondering if anyone knows off hand what the HP rating will be. Car is 1999.5 if that matters.

Giac should get you at about 200. Test pipes claim 10-20; alot of that will depend on what size you go with and what you have behind it. I don't know anything about the Borla system as far as size, mid muffler or not, and mandrel or pressed bends but it'll atleast get you a couple of ponies.

borla is 2.5" with mandrel bends if it is the AWE kit that is floating around. Yep about 200whp and that might allow you to hang with a sti or stock srt-4. Consider that your stage one and when you get bored of it move up to a bigger turbo and all other related mods... Enjoy the ride

also, borla is 2.25", techtonics is 2.5" with borla mufflers, so that might be something to look into.
you might be able to keep up with a wrx, but i still think they are faster, you won't touch an sti.

A full turboback and chip running 20-22psi will make 190-200fwhp, so that will put you closer to 230bhp. If you are still running 17-18psi, 210bhp is about right.
