Default Hummng at high speed, but not when turning right

I have a 98 2.8q manual with 103k miles which makes a loud humming noise at about 60mph, but when I make right turns the noise goes away completely. It's not based on engine speed, so my first guesses would be:
1. tires (uneven wear)
2. wheel bearing(s)
3. something with the differential
Can anyone shed some light on what this may be? thanks!

I'm betting on a wheel bearing.

bad wheel bearing on the passenger side of the car. if it's the front, it's pretty distinctive from the front end. if it's the back, you'll hear in the back on your head, kind of.

It's probably the rear. Thanks for the help, now I just have to decide if I'm gonna replace it myself or bring it in.

couple of tips. you need a press to replace the wheel bearing. don't take the ABS sensor out of the hub. disconnect it from under the rear seats and keep the sensor on the hub. if you take the sensor out, you'll most likely destroy it and you'll need a new one.
