Before people start telling me to use the search feature, please note that I already have.

With that said, my HVAC buttons are unresponsive and my unit is stuck on heat (it could be worse i guess, it could be stuck on A/C with winter coming). This isn't the first time my unit became unresponsive, but it was always due to a stuck button which I would usually get unstuck with some goo-gone and a bit of elbow grease. This time, all my buttons are loose and move easily, but the unit remains unresponsive. Can anyone suggest anything? Thanks

 

You need to take it out, remove the buttons, and see what's stuck or sticking down.

 

Pull the battery? I had this issue last winter too

 

Nah, tried it, I even tried pulling the fuses to reset it, but nothing worked. I guess I'll just have to pull it apart...
