A shop can recharge it. Shouldn't take too long or be too much $$$, bout the same as if you buy your own kit. But make sure you check for leaks first

Egh... its simple, straight forward mechanics. Go to a reputable lube shop. They'll know how to do it right.

If i remember right the AEB cars like you have only have a high pressure side so you need to get an adapter for it. In that case, its best to just pay a shop to do it. Think the quick lube places can even do it for you while you wait. Should be looking at $75-150 for it to be done depending on how much freon you need and labor rates. However when they do it, they remove all the air in the system so it will be extremely cold

It might not be that you need a recharge. The temp. flap motor does go bad at times. People who's car has one go out, try all kinds of things and spend all kinds of money only to find out it was the flap motor. I came across something about that once. A little involved to replace, but the forum post I saw found a possible short cut. I believe you can pull your glove box, and remove the kick panel on the center console to access the motor just enough to see if it is operating when you change the temp on the climate control. If it doesn't, try changing the position yourself. If you get cold air when the A/C is turned on, that is your problem. I will try to find the article for you.

Check out this link to run a diagnostic on the climate control system through the climate control display.

I found it. This might help you test the motor before you go out and spend money on things you might not need. Good Luck. Link below....
