Default Hyper Condensation

Man.. my to do list is getting absurdly long and i've only drvien 9000 km! loll

Anyways, I went to my car this morning and noticed that the interior windshield of the car had HYPER Condensation (i.e., my hand was dripping a lot of water from wipping the windshield from the inside O.o.. )

I know that condensation is normal due to different ambient temperature levels. Although, this isn't Normal by any standard and past experiences.

My only leads are that my driver's door is slightly off when closed (i.e., exhausted latch/ or hinge) and maybe it's my sunroof causing thermal isolation problems due to one morning noticing small condensation on the sunroof..

Any suggestions?

That's basically it - somewhere you have a bad weatherseal, either sunroof, door, or window (trunk is possible too). You can try to find some stuff called Rubber Rejuvenator to swell the seals up and make them seal better, or if you find a torn one, replace it. If that doesn't do it, you may need to verify that the front and rear windshields are sealed correctly.

well, I was under the assumption that it was something in those areas..

Is there a way to figure out if a seal is bad/broken just by a visual inspection, or does it require a special technique like using water or something?

I've read about MicroCuts..LoL, I don't think a visual inspection could help me on that XD

I have the same problem, I found out where my seals are bad when it rained the other day. Is your dash curling by any chance?

Good luck.

I have a stripped screw on my windshield wiper trim, those stupid plastic screws. I think thats the source of my leak, or the trunk. I just ran into this problem as well, and its very annoying.

Hey, what made you notice the seals were bad during a rainy day? Was there water entering the car from an area? If so, where was it??
Also, could you elaborate on the dash curling??

On both my drivers side and passenger side door seals water will drip down when I go over bumps. Nothing major at all, maybe a couple drops here and there, but I definitely noticed it. It's right before the bend in the window frame.

Also, my dash is curling and it's pretty bad. I can only assume it's from the condensation build up over time, which is warping it. Been wanting to do a dash swap for awhile, but first I have to fix my bad seals.

I went around checking my seals tonight for rips. Found none, and nothing extremely wet. Trunk seal was the most wet, which may be the culprit as I found condensation around my ski sack. What about the windshield, my plastic cover over the wiper motor is coming off, and there's a pretty good sized gap. Problem?

Mee too, the windshield plastic cover going over the bottom of the winshield is really loose and a piece of that plastic is broken (ill changed that)..

Im gonna try using a lighter (with visible flame) and a friend using a Leaf Blower outside to see where are the possible air currents ( in case your wondering why, the flame will move due to the air currents.. simple n maybe effective). It could also be performed with someone in the trunk.lolll

Where would you hold the lighter? outside with the leaf blower inside?
