No prob, thats what we're here for

As for the trim, did you get all of the front dash pieces? The door panels are a piece of cake, but I had a bloody hell of a time getting the dash pieces out when I did my heater; they didn't need to come off, obviously, for the heater job, but like you and many others, the wood grain was not high in my favor of things to look at so while I had the interior pulled apart anyway, I yanked the trim and heeded the advice of the ever creative and knowledgeable ImTheDevil and wrapped all the trim in suede and couldn't be more pleased with the result

As for the dash removal itself, I did my work at my buddy's garage at a dealership he works at so he had access to all the stuff to drain and recharge the refrigerant so that worked out well in my favor, but I probably still wouldn't have a working heater had I not had that resource to save me having to pay someone else to drain and fill it for the job.

I was thinking of trying to peal off the wood grain sticker from the metal and see what's underneath. If it is nice and smooth I will just paint it if not I will be doing some fiberglass work and then paint it. I guess I could cover it in vinyl but I wanted to paint match it to the car. I plan to paint the center stereo surround as well. I got my trim off within 5 minutes of being able to get to all the clips.

This is how it sits for now.

I need to finish the steering column and put it back. I am looking for carpet but I can only find used. Anyone know what insane price the dealer charges for new carpet? Can you buy it anywhere else?
