The "I got my SpeedTuning Chip" Thread pt. 2
So i got my SpeedTuning chip in the mail about an hour ago (group buy), excited as i was i went outside and plugged in my ecu and let it sit for about 10 min with the key turned (not on).
Anyways to the dissapointment, I went for a test drive only to find that my car feels exactly like it did before the chip! So now im confused? I dont have a boost guage so i cant tell you what psi im at but it feels exactly like the normal stock sluggishness.
So whats next? Something im doing wrong? Maybe some poeople that participated in the last group buy can help me out?
Im going to contact Oliver but im sure he's just going to tell me my car has something wrong with it...
Im bummed cause ive heard of so many GOOD experiences

After chipped some small/unnoticeable problems that used to be in your car will be exposed(like boost leak/bad DV since you don't have a boost gauge to tell you before).
After chipped you should upgrade the DV and regap the spark plugs to 0.28 (stock 0.32) and get a boost gauge.

i would drive at least a hundred miles before you say anything as it takes a while for the car to "learn"

I disagree - unless the Speedtuning chip is completely different that any other chip, you should see an immediate noticeable difference. Get you car scanned for codes to make sure you are not in limp. While its true that the car has an adaptive system, new ECU software does not need to be learned.

Yea i definately dont feel any gain what so ever. Fells completely stock. But its weird becuase i have no cels, no weird noises, nothing! Im so confused on what to do. Could i be in "limp" mode?
