With that vacuum hose broken there is definately a vacuum leak right there.. I'm suprized noone has said that. Also with that line broken, you dont have any vacuum pulling you're dv open when you let off the throttle. I would say that is a BIG issue.. You're running you're car with an open vacuum line and no dv right now.

that is the issue 100% sure. well that and the (probably) 2 other boost leaks youll find if your vac lines are that chewed up. and x1000 buy a boost gauge.

replace the vac line, it goes from the dv to the front of the intake manifold on a brass nipple. heres the best diagram i can get.

Yea thanks alot for that. You think you could do the same red line for the other major vac lines?

I agree with this. My ST chip was noticeable from minute 1. Plugged it in, did throttle body adjustment and went straight to the foothills and had a blast. And I'd say that broken line is playing a huge part in lack of performance. def get at least a 710n and boost gauge. IMO every FI car should have one.

Ive had the CEL for the bank 2 secondary flow for a while now. Will this put my car in limp mode, making my flash pointless? I am curious as to why ST says you need-75-100 miles to feel a gain, when people here notice iy immediately.

the chip adapts to the throttle. let it adjust, and then have fun. you wont notice anything different between driving it at mile 50 and 100 but it will have made slight changes between then. i plugged mine in and had a blast in 20 mins...

First take care of that vacuum line and look over all you're other hoses. Then fix you're secondary flow problem. (Could be related to the vacuum line but I'm no expert on these cars.) Then you can worry about if the chip is working or not. "Maintainance before mods" is how the saying goes..
