i need help. and i think this is weird.

Default i need help. and i think this is weird.

um every window in my car including the sunroof doesn't open anymore, the lights in the window buttons in the fingertrays aren't on anymore, they worked fine like a week ago btw, its a 99 1.8

anyone? i don't think the motors or any of that went bad i don't know if all of them would go bad within a week of not even using them at all. i know its winter and im not putting them down but i'd like to get it fixed as soon as possible if anyone has any ideas.

there is no powerwindow fuse unless its grouped in with something else. i checked the ones that i thought they might be in they are all fine. i checked the sliding roof thats fine.

It's probably the drivers door switch panel. If that goes out then none of the windows will go down even at each door. Thats if its not a fuse or a bad wire/ connection going to the switches.

Agreed - all power for the windows is routed to the driver's door first, and from there out to the other doors (that's how the button on the driver's panel can shut off the rear window switches). Chances are your driver's door switch panel took a ****.

just a thought this osunds like what happened when my buddys ingnition switch went, see if the key goes to the start position but dosent come back. just my .02 cents.

where can i get a driver side switch panel? im going to have to take it apart and see what the deal is.

you can also check all of the rest of your interior swithes, fans, wipers, dome lights, etc. maybe a relay that operates windows and such went out.
