my a4 b5 was running about 20psi boost but got told turbo was faulty so replaced it under warrenty and now got 20psi vaccum and only 10psi boost please any advise will be gratefully appreciated

 

Welcome to AF!

Especially for questions like this, you need to include as much info about your car as possible. Year, engine code, trans code, any modifications that you've done to it (which I assume you have if you're running 20psi) etc. If you plan on posting a lot, easiest thing to do is just list all of your info in your sig so you don't have to go through the dog and pony show of writing it all out every time you have a question.

Check engine light on?

Theirs no cel showing so im really confused i cant seem to find any boost leaks is it possible for wastegate to not be set properly being the cause as i thought they was preset.

 

Its 97 1.8t aeb not sure on tran code though ;-)

 

Waste gates are preset in the way that you don't have to iron non-iron shirts. Sounds good in theory but rarely ever actually works

 

How do you set a wastgate then??
